INSURANCE & DIRECT ACCESS

Insurances Accepted

Brierwood Physical Therapy participates with most insurance carriers, including Medicare and Medicaid, and as a courtesy to our patients, will bill your insurance for Physical Therapy services that you have received. Most insurance plans, but not all, require the patient to pay a coinsurance or co-payment.

We also accept both Workers’ Compensation and No Fault Insurance. We will need to verify the insurance company, address, phone number, case adjuster’s name, and claim number to get you set up with your appointment.

What Is Direct Access?

In New York State you do not need a prescription to begin physical therapy treatment. Most health insurances allow their patients 10 visits, or one month, of physical therapy services without having a physician referral.

Please contact us at 716-649-0444 to speak to Gretchen our receptionist and discuss your insurance and PT benefits today. She'll make the process easy for you to take the next steps towards being healthy again.
